Security Crew Rules

BEFORE EVENT

Complete the online DPSST event security course. 
Print out the completion page if possible. Submit full application. Fees, fingerprint confirmation, course completion certificates (3).

Take at least 4 full shifts, at least one shift per day.
 These may be divided, if in collaboration with someone taking the other part of the shift.
Does not include volunteer patrol shifts.

During Event

Be nice 

This is a special event and  generally everyone there is nice. Security more than anyone needs to set this example.

Off duty drinking 

No drinking or other intoxicants on shift or off shift, when anywhere on site. 
When we are at the gate or inside the festival we are technically on a work site,
so even off duty we have to adhere to the standards of being on duty. 

 
It is a courtesy that we as paid crew get to camp on site. So Security is essentially a 'dry-camp'  In interests of legalities and preserving this courtesy, off shift drinking etc would need to happen somewhere else such as another town.
